Library and Information Center is the heart of the academic Centre at Govt. Engineering College, Hassan. It has a collection of over 10,000+ Volumes and 1000+ titles that supplement teaching, research and development of the Institution.

The Library's books has bar-coded facility and fully automated by using Koha - An Integrated Open Source Library Management Software. 

The Library offer many services to its patrons like Automated Circulation System, Online Public Access Catalogue, Online Purchase Suggestion, Patron Management, SC/ST Book Bank Facility, News Paper Service, Selective Dissemination of Information, Institutional Repository, etc.
